The working group, composed of members of Frome Town Team, drew up a long list from the variety of tenders received from a wide range of potential app.-builders.  From these a short-list of two bidders was chosen and interviewed.  The successful company is Zolk c, registered in the Republic of Ireland and whose UK representative and point-of-contact lives in Frome.  Evidence of successful and on-going collaborations with Shetland Amenity Trust, The John F. Kennedy Trust and the CN Tower in Toronto, was a key factor in awarding the contract.  Also significant was the fact that no VAT is payable to an ROI-registered company so two app. platforms will be achievable for the available funding.

The Arts will be one of a series of sign-posted routes through the town, highlighting key venues and outlets.  It is also hoped that the app. will include a prominent link to the creativeFROME website.
