We have put help pages throughout the site and include an instruction page when you log-on. We thought that we would continue to add to FAQ's as they arise so do check here first if you have a query.
This is the method to get alerts about changes on a site send directly to your own computer (browser) This function is similar to e-mail except you request that the updates are sent to you rather than being unsolicited. We have added a number of feeds
- the big feed on the front page sends you all the changes to Hot Spot (blog), Events and to Frome's List
- on Hot Spot we have a feed that only sends you the changes to the Blogs
- on Events we have a feed that only sends you the changes to Events
- on Frome's list we have a feed that only sends you the changes to Frome's list
With each feed you can set up your browser to go look for changes to this site, and to let you know if something new is available. On my browser (Firefox) I have a little counter on the status bar that tells me how many new items there are. You control this function and can unsubscribe whenever you want.
